Bridge to Nowhere

Good ride along 4wd track to a slightly more interesting single track at the end. Combined with a kayak makes for a great adventure.

Excellent single track from Taupo up to Huka falls and a little beyond.

Signal Hill

Lots of downhill tracks with a good uphill track. The XC tracks are pretty old and not worth doing.

2 easy loops, with the descent through the redwoods being especially fun. Lots of berms and a few obstacles.

Unexpectedly good biking just on the edge of Timaru.

Classic old single track and great newer, easy one side by side. Excellent place for an afternoon pedal.

Arrowsmith Race

A good 4wd track on private property. Open to guests and the public once a year for a series of races.

Only open for the race this route is spoiled by the huge number of people.

Great custom built single track by the Ashburton river.

Return to Ghost Lake

Even though it is still incomplete the Old Ghost Road is a brilliant ride. The return to Ghost Lake involves an easy, steady climb then excellent fast descent.
